Hand Wash & Dry (5-Step Service)

For boats that just need a quick, thorough clean between detailing sessions.

This service is ideal for removing salt spray, dock grime, and light buildup without stripping wax or damaging protective coatings.

Step 1: We begin by pressure rinsing the vessel using a wide fan tip from a safe distance (24–36 inches), safely removing loose salt and debris without harming gelcoat, decals, or trim.

Step 2: We apply Star Brite Sea Safe Wash using a Griot’s Garage Foam Cannon, ensuring even coverage and extended dwell time so the soap can break down surface grime before any brushing begins.

Step 3: Our detailers wash the entire exterior by hand using soft-bristle brushes, working top-down to prevent dragging grit across finished surfaces. We use Griot’s Garage Bug & Smudge Remover on the windshield, bow, and brow to remove splatter commonly found on trailered vessels. Mr. Clean Magic Erasers are used as needed to clean along caulk seams, rub rails, and non-skid edges, removing buildup without damaging the surrounding finish.

Step 4: Once all surfaces are thoroughly rinsed, the vessel is hand-dried using microfiber towels, with a focus on tight areas such as cleats, hatches, and rail bases to eliminate water streaks.

Step 5: To complete the service, we clean all glass surfaces using Griot’s Garage Ultra-Premium Glass Cleaner and Imar Strataglass Protective Cleaner for soft vinyl enclosures, such as isinglass or Strata glass, ensuring streak-free clarity without compromising material integrity.
