Sales & Delivery Advisor
Tacoma, WA | Full-Time | $28–$35/hr.
DOE + 3% commission on billable hours delivered on time.
Purpose of the Role
Sales & Delivery Managers exist to turn customer interest into booked work and booked work into five-star deliveries.
They own the customer from first contact to keys-back. That means building quotes, confidently reviewing them with customers, closing the work, ordering parts, scheduling jobs, and ensuring the team delivers exactly what was sold, on time and as planned.
This role is the control point between demand and execution. When done well, work flows predictably, customers feel taken care of, the team knows exactly what they are doing each day, and revenue shows up without chaos.
Everything in this role must measurably improve customer satisfaction, team member satisfaction, or profitability, none at the expense of the others.
• Customer Satisfaction: Customers feel confident from first contact to keys-back. Quotes are clear, reviewed live, and closed without confusion. Work starts when promised, finishes as planned, and delivers exactly what was sold—without surprises, delays, or scope drift.
• Team Member Satisfaction: The team shows up each day knowing what work is booked, why it matters, and what “done” looks like. Accurate quoting, timely parts ordering, and disciplined scheduling eliminate fire drills, rework, and last-minute changes that burn people out and erode trust.
• Profitability: The shop consistently hits the current daily labor quota, through closed work that is accurately quoted, properly scheduled, and delivered as planned. The target will increase as shop capacity, pricing, and demand grow, and the Sales & Delivery Manager is accountable for adjusting execution to consistently meet the standard.
Qualifications for the Role
• Proven experience in a customer-facing sales or service environment where closing the deal mattered.
• Comfortable building quotes quickly, reviewing quotes live, handling objections, and asking for the sale.
• Strong organizational discipline with zero tolerance for loose ends, missed follow-up, or calendar chaos.
• Clear, confident communicator across phone, email, and in-person interactions.
• Pride in running a tight operation and owning outcomes end to end.
Foundational Responsibilities
• Hit your quota, no excuses. Results are non-negotiable. Outcomes matter more than effort.
• Operate inside the 120VC Flywheel, without exception. This role does not work around the Flywheel or selectively adopt it. The 2x2, WFE, DFE, Eyes Up, and Weekly DOING are how this role plans, executes, and reports work.
• Master and use 120VC’s ways of working daily. Mastery is demonstrated through consistent use of the system, not familiarity with the concepts.
• If it’s written down, execute it as written. If we ask you to read it, we expect you to follow it. If it’s in an agenda, execute it like it’s your plan. Personal preference does not override the system.
Daily Responsibilities (Do First / Drive Daily)
• Daily shop labor revenue meets or exceeds the $3,000 labor quota through closed, scheduled, and delivered work.
• All active quotes are delivered within 24 hours of scope confirmation or actively followed up the same day until closed or declined.
• Owns and ensures all team calendars are accurate and 100% time-blocked at least one week in advance, then reconciled daily through the DFE.
• All sold work has parts ordered the same day from NJO authorized vendors and arrives before scheduled start.
• Every job starts on time and advances daily according to the planned time blocks on the team member’s calendar and communicated to the customer.
• Runs the Flywheel daily. Leads the daily standup to review today’s and tomorrow’s calendars and ensure the team is staged and ready. Leads the daily team Daily Focusing Exercise to reconcile calendars and adjust the plan at least one week out when necessary. Runs Weekly Focusing and Team DOING to keep priorities, commitments, and calendars aligned.
• Owns a Single-touch discipline. Calls are answered live whenever possible. Voicemails are returned the same day. If you start a quote, you finish it. Emails are responded to and then archived. HubSpot tickets are kept current, followed up with a minimum of three emails and three phone calls, and archived after seven business days if the customer is unresponsive.
30-Day Expectation
• By day 30, this role independently closes work, runs the 120VC Flywheel cadence without oversight, consistently uses 120VC’s ways of working as designed, and maintains a locked calendar at least one week out.
90-Day Expectation
• By day 90, this role consistently meets the daily labor quota through disciplined use of the Flywheel, clean calendar control, and closed, scheduled, and delivered work.
