T-Town Overland Show presented by Next Jump Outfitters hosted by Griot's Garage
Tacoma, WA - Spring is here, and it's time to gear up for a summer of adventure. If you're an outdoor enthusiast, camper, off-roader, vanlifer, RVer, or overlander, the T-Town Overland Show presented by Next Jump Outfitters and hosted by Griot's Garage is the event for you.
On Saturday, April 29th, from 10-4 pm, the T-Town Overland Show will take place at Griot's Garage located at 3333 S 38th St, Tacoma, WA. The event is free and open to all ages, making it the perfect day out for the whole family and crew.
The T-Town Overland Show will bring together a community of outdoor and overlanding experts and enthusiasts to help visitors build the community and knowledge needed to get outdoors more.
J. Scott, from Next Jump Outfitters, says, "Are you tired of spending hours researching gear and planning routes for your overlanding trips? Do you find yourself constantly questioning if you have the right equipment to handle the rugged terrain? That's why we are bringing together a community of outdoor and overlanding experts and enthusiasts to help you take your adventures to the next level."
Next Jump Outfitters, based in Tacoma (next door neighbors to Griot’s Garage) is dedicated to outfitting trucks, trailers, and boats for adventure. The company has mastered the art of the digital nomad, enabling a balance between work, exploration, raising, and educating kids. Next Jump Outfitters' goal is to significantly reduce the time, cost, and effort traditionally required to live a life of adventure.
Overlanding is a form of self-reliant travel using off-road capable vehicles to explore remote areas of the world. The Pacific Northwest is an ideal destination for overlanding due to its natural beauty, abundance of remote areas, and culture of outdoor adventure and self-sufficiency. Overlanding in the Pacific Northwest offers a unique and exciting way to explore the region's mountains, forests, and coastlines while testing one's skills and self-sufficiency in the wilderness.
The T-Town Overland Show plan to feature 20 local outdoor vendors and clubs conducting demos and workshops, live music, food truck, and local brewery. There will be free street parking available for visitors.
Clubs and local businesses can participate by reserving a vendor exhibition space with a $500 deposit for the day. Early registration to be included in print marketing is March 24th, and the registration deadline is April 14th. Additionally, participants can lead a workshop or clinic and share their wisdom with the community, making it fun.
Scott is inviting the Tacoma community to come together, “Let's make T-Town the Overland HQ of the Pacific Northwest. Help us spread the word to anyone who would be a great fit for this event, from outdoor clubs and brands to like-minded local businesses that make living adventuring in the PNW so great.”
