For regularly maintained teak that’s clean and golden, just needing seasonal brightening and protection.

This light service is designed for teak that has been well cared for and doesn’t require aggressive scrubbing or sanding. It restores a rich tone and provides UV protection using Semco Sealer.

Why Semco?
Most teak treatments either look good for a week or destroy the wood long term. Varnish cracks and peels. Teak oil attracts mildew and turns slick underfoot. Semco Teak Sealer is different. It penetrates deep into the grain, doesn’t peel, doesn’t trap moisture, and actually allows the wood to breathe. The result? Natural-looking teak that stays protected for up to a year with no shine, no mess, and no bullshit. It’s the gold standard for owners who care how their teak looks and how it lasts.

Step 1: We begin by rinsing the teak thoroughly with fresh water to remove loose dirt, dust, and surface grime.

Step 2: We apply Semco Teak Cleaner (Part 1) and lightly scrub the surface using soft bristle brushes to lift oils and light discoloration.

Step 3: We rinse away the cleaner and immediately apply Semco Teak Brightener (Part 2) to restore the wood’s natural tone. After a brief dwell time, we rinse thoroughly and allow the teak to dry completely.

Step 4: Once fully dry, we apply Semco Teak Sealer using foam brushes in even, overlapping strokes to ensure uniform saturation and a non-blotchy finish. A second coat is applied 30–60 minutes later for extended protection.

Step 5: We wipe away any excess and inspect all seams and grain transitions for consistency.
